Just purchased a Heli Bar handlebar riser. Does anyone have any tips on installation? Any special tools required?

For me it worked best to completely remove the wire loom that contains all the cables. When they were free it was easier to get clearance for my hands to reach the nuts and washers on the bottom of the retaining bolts.
Definitely get a helper to torque the bolts on reinstall.

It was hell getting the allen-head bolts broken loose. If you don't have some high quality allen wrenches or sockets, you will probably have to go buy some in the middle of the process.
Ditto to the towels to cushion things. The bars dangle by the hoses and wires, and the slightest fiddling makes them clank around on your beautiful painted surfaces.

Ditto on the good allen wrenches and the towels.
Not hard but take our time. Getting the allen bolts back in is difficult so make sure they are lined up perfectly.
I should have written this one up but I just didn't have the patience to do it. It is an easy install though. It just takes some time and patience.
