I have some gerbing gloves but I honestly wear my Joe Rocket waterproof (yeah right) gloves and use my electric grips. That seems to work best for daily commuting... on a long trip I'd probably just plug in the gerbings.

Below 50 degrees I wear a pair of BMW winter weight gloves and they keep me pretty warm (down to high 30s) Below that I add some glove liners and I'm good for another 10-15 degrees.

Thanks for the e-mails. I am going to buy some liners. I went riding yesterday morning and it was 32* here. I tried my Joe Rocket leather gloves, but it didn't work. Have ya'll tried the silk liners yet?

I've tried silk liners in the past and they work extremely well. The only problem is I found my jagged fingernails would cut through them .... LOL

Try "Under Armor" brand liners - they're hi-tech synthetic and IMHO, they work better than silk. Should be able to get them at any national brand sporting goods store - Sportmart, etc. $15 ??

Charlie, I'm glad you sold the Busa. Olympia gloves and heated grips. I carry a pair of polypropylene liners ($7.99 a pair or 2 pairs for $9.99 at performancebike.com) but rarely use them. I use them with my summer weight gloves and until the temperature really plunges. On a ride to the White Mountains this fall I lent them to a cruiser buddy who called me a sissy for having a fairing and heated grips. I told him us sissies can ride it longer, harder, and faster. :D I rode with just the summer gloves and my heated grips. :)
