Heated Grips

Looking for some help with my Hondaline heated grips. I have no heat! I find a very weak current at the plugins to the grips. Yes I know the motor has to be running. I have checked all the connections I can without tearing off any of the plastic. I installed them myself and everything was fine until last weekend when I noticed my hands were getting cold. Any suggestions shy of tearing it down to the accessory harness?

Check the resistance of both grips. Each grip should measure a couple of ohms. If one grip has an open, neither grip will work. If both grips check OK, then it's time to dig deeper.
