About four days into my Colorado trip last week a few "issues" decided to surface. First, my wife dropped her HJC helmet on the pavement badly scratching the shield and breaking the fragile plastic shield mechanism on the side of the helmet. Second, I realized that my rear BT020 tire was not going to make this entire trip.......it was wearing just too fast.

I was in Gateway, Colorado at the time (Gateway Canyons resort is awesome btw) and found Allsports Honda/Bmw in the Grand Junction phonebook. I rang 'em up and they said they had a large selection of helmets AND a set of BT020s for my bike in stock.

When I got to Allsports the next morning the sevice manager put me at the front of the line and got my tires mounted in about an hour. While I waited for my tires the guy at the parts counter basically rebuilt my wifes helmet. I had planned on just buying her a new one but the parts department actually kept shields (3 different tints) and the shield mechanism in stock.

I got very good prices and was treated like a VIP the entire time I was there. Allsports Honda/BMW in Grand Junction, CO gets a big thumbs up. :bow1:

Most dealers (but not all) will serve ya well on the road. We all need to hear about both. The good ones will be there for the next guy, the not-so-good, maybe not.

My opinion.

Might be an idea to send a note to the owner/manager extolling the good service.
