After having drug my shoe across the top of my saddlebags for the umpteenth time in 1 week, I went looking for some 3M film. Tankslapper has a complete protection kit made of a combination of 3M and their own static film. The kit is reasonably prices at ~$45 for the works. I wrote and asked if I could get just the headlight, nose piece, and bags all cut from 3M film. Had a response back in 2 hours on a Saturday, yes, and they'd do it for $30.

+1 on Tankslapper.biz. Great guys. I ordered the tank kit for my ST11 and was very pleased with it. But I notice a few more areas I wouldn't mind protecting. The guy on the phone was very easy to deal with and was willing to do pretty much anything I wanted or needed. Even offered to sell the material in bulk so I could make the peices custom however I wanted. Not only that, but just after offering to let me buy the material in bulk he also then sat there and told me the best way to make templates for the parts I want.
Now THAT is what I call a good company to work with.

If anyone has any of the 3m stuff left over, I could use a few 4x6 pieces.
