Has anybody replaced their "manual" screen with an electric model? If so, did you use a standard Honda part? Also, how easy was it to do, or did you get your mechanic to do it for you?

Many have done the conversion using OEM parts as well as some home made wiring kits. See this site for more. Clicky (http://motorcycleinfo.calsci.com/ST1300_c.html#Electric) . Welcome to the site

Hi Hitcher
Changed the manual one for electric using OEM parts from David Silver.
Was it a good idea??? Maybe, I usually have the screen all the way down or just a fraction up. I hate the feeling of the screen in its full up position. The front end feels like it is not there any more. I think a change in screen may help but I need to do more research before hand
Job took 4-5 hours, lots of coffee, lots of cigs!!!!
The most difficult bit was removing the fairing and getting it to fit back on afterwards.
Hope that helps :biker:
