My grand son and I got out for a ride in Jan.
Yep its -7 C and were still at it.

He was actually sitting on the little trail bikes when we went looking for the ST. I had to pry him off but he is ready I think. Hey he tells me next year he is ready for the front seat of the ST and papa has to move to the back.

I rode a little Passport 50 [wasn't mine tho] on the crust in the winter, when i was about your grandsons age, maybe even younger i think. Yup, you might have the next Valentino Rossi on your hands there. I've got a full face helmet here that if we connect i'll give you for him. But i don't have a shield for it. It is an XS i think. You want i should leave it at our dlrship for you if i find myself down there unexpectedly?

I never road or even sat on a bike until I was just shy of 50 years old. I wanted to introduce this to him so he could enjoy this great past time that I have found and am now addicted to. All started when I got my V65 and told him when his feet hit the pegs I would take him, well he climbed up and they reached so we have been riding together ever since. If I had some where he could ride I might look into getting him one of them little trail bikes because he sure loves it although he is only good for about an hour.
