sat 8 am left santa clarita for isabella lake via the 14 fwy. 8:40 am the temp in lancaster was 37 degrees burr. breakfast and warm up at mikes in mojave food was good. lots of bikes on the road. rode on up past the lake and into bodfish (great name for a town eh.) went thru bodfish on the main route that heads to hwy 58? lots of tight turns and a narrow road but few cars. (wish i knew the road name or number) came out just what i would say is west of the tehachapi loop on 58? rode on to the loop and i was lucky enough to catch a train going through the loop quite a sight! (found out the tip over wings work good in the dirt when the bike fell over, no damage) then on into tehachapi for a snack and head for home. tried soledad cyn but it was closed due to the recent rain. all in all a great ride in clear weather 320 mi total. :)
