I had mentioned in previous posts that I needed to replace my mummy style sleeping bag with a roomier bag because the mummy bag did not allow me to relieve the strain on my aging joints.
Well on Monday I drove (snowing out so no ST) to Cabela's in Dundee, MI and brought a new rectanglular shaped bag that gives me lots of room to flop around in when the ol joints start complaining. This is a great time to buy camping equipment, everything is on sale, the new bag was 50% off list price.
Once I got back home, I spread out the bag to give it a test run (in the TV room, it's cold outside) by taking an afternoon nap (I'm an old fart and need my rest). Well I found that my fat cat, named Fritz, loves the new bag and appears to have taken over ownership. So I am wondering where I can stash a 20 pound cat on my ST1300 when I finally get a chance in spring to go camping! :p Since he won't give up the bag, I guess he has to go along for the ride.
