As of today there are 11 rooms reserved at the Alpine In in Alpine ,Texas so if you are deciding go or no go you have until the end of the month to reserve a room at the reduced rate.

Fort Davis is one of my favorite state parks.
The loop of 118 & 166 is one great ride.
Hamburgers at the Drug Store in Fort Davis, man I am ready to go now.

As of today there only 5 rooms left in the Alpine Inn and the rate is $55 a night.
If the Inn fills up people will be directed to the Best Western at a reduced rate.
And do not forget the Saturday evening $5 pizza banquet in the hotel parking lot.

I will collect the money Saturday evening from the people who are present. The amount of money collected will be the amount of pizza ordered.

If you are looking for a very formal and structured event this is not it.
I will have some suggested routes butt there are no formal organized rides
People divide up into groups and ride .
I am working a few final details and will post a list of areas I believe are worth seeing and some of the activities that are available in the area.

Well just a slight change of plans.
I'm still heading out with my son, but instead of camping we'll be staying at the Alpine Inn. Should be there sometime between 4 - 6 on Friday night.
Anyone up for a trip to "Attempt" to see the Marfa Lights Friday night?

Is he still alive? I heard he died of some type of liver disorder...

Bikes all checked over and ready to go. This won't be a very productive week from a work perspective.
