So, I am going CC in Sept (:clap2: ) and this is coming out in a few days.

Thoughts, opinions and all comments welcome.

I read a review and it is supposed to have a DC in for power. Takes 8 gig chips for extended recording. It is simple to use and super small, due to not having a hard drive or tape mechinism.

Anyone try an HD camcorder on a bike yet?

Well, I got the camera today and of course I had to go for a short ride to get some video. The program they give you to play the video on your home computer sucks. It is jerky and drops frames so it is basicly useless. But, hooked to the component cables on an HD tv it is like watching a HD TV show! (and just about as interesting!) The ride around the block is good but I did not disable the focus so the constant searching is visable and maybe also a little vibration. I will have to disable the auto focus to see if there is really vibration. The file can be converted to an MPG file.....but 4:44 MINUTES is 328 megs. I am uploading it now, and will post the link here when it is done.

It should go here. http://www.st-owners.com/forums/showthread.php?p=265238#post265238

I have a sanyo Xacti hd camera. It takes 8gig hcsd cards. The movie quality is great and it plays back on the computer good too. The files are also huge mpeg4 so uploading them is not an option untill I figure out how to make them alot smaller. I payed around $800.00 and it came with a battery and an 8gig card. bought it on ebay.
