Greetings!
I had a RoadyHolder for my RT that I really liked, so I got the 2 screw version for my ST1300. With the handlebars turned full left the antenna shelf hits the top ridge of the dashboard :(
I happened to already have Motorcycle Larrys risers ordered and on the way. Now I'm hoping that this will alter the distances enough so that I can still use the RoadyHolder.
Don't suppsoe anyone else has this particular combo?

Installed the Motorcycle Larry risers today, they raise the handle bars up 1 inch and toward the rider 2" (more about them in a different post). This is just enough to give the RoadyHolder the clearance it needs! :clap2:
Here are a couple pics to illustrate what I am talking about:

Haven't put the XM Roady2 on it yet. The Quartet Harness & 12v outlet that I need to power the Roady2 came in late this afternoon. Hopefully get a chance Sunday.

Man, that Roady mount looks like it was made for that spot!
How do you like Larry's risers? I've heard some people talking about rubbing on the brake and/or clutch lines.

Hey Jim,
I'm very happy with how the RoadyHolder worked out.
I haven't noticed any chafing. The brake & Clutch lines have slack in them. The electrical cables that are routed underneath the bars that go to the control housings are a bit tight, but they don't seem to rub. Will take a look again in a few hundred miles.

Thought I would add some hard won advice. Would *highly* suggest you replace the nuts they give you for the C-Clip with nylon lock nuts instead...
Several weeks ago on my RT during a group ride the nuts came loose and my Roady2 went airborn. On the plus side, I now know those Roady2s are neigh on indestructible, lol. My friends poked fun at me the rest of the ride though :(
Nylon Lock Nuts, get them, love them, use them ;)
