I got my new Hot Grips epoxied on to the bike and re-installed the dampeners.

Now its time to wire it up to the Quartet Harness and mount the controller sold by Hot Grips for this purpose. I assume that the QH is up to this since the OEM heated grips go there.

Where should I mount it?
1. below left fairing door (enough depth for controller?), where exactly?
2. in speaker grille (shown below)
3. left side of grille, in front of mirror, facing outward.

If you mount it in the speaker grill it will be close to where the QH is tied to the fairing mounts, also that way you don't have to mess with it everytime you remove the left side tupperware. I have the round rocker switch on mine and mounted it just below the door on the left side, and have a quick disconnect in line that allows me to remove the tupperware without going into the QH to do so. :biker:

I know someone with option #3 and works well. Plan to do it myself soon.
