I've been thinking about the XM commander as something to put on the bike that I would install instead of mount.

Has anyone done this or have a picture of the side/back of that damn thing?

I can't find any posts picturing the stupid thing. They want to make you believe it's a 1/4" thick but that's all you can see in the promo pics.

If anyone knows of an install tutorial or other pics of this please post a link and/or pics here.

Thanks,
Curt

Are you guys listening through speakers or earphones? If earphones, don't you get alot of wind noise?

Hi Charlie,

Can you tell us more about these Sony noise cancelling earbuds? Are they active noise cancelling like airplane pilot headsets? Is there an electronics box that has to be wired in? Where did you get yours, and what was the price?

... and thanks again for running a great SiTe !

Thanks,
Rob

DonD, Just started to think about XM. I've noticed some are using the marine kit with XM. Is that something you add to any of the units or a specific kit? If it's a specific kit,

Charlie - Do these things actually work better than the usual foam earplugs at reducing noise? Or are you just saying they help knock it down better than just earbuds alone (like Koss or Etymotics or the non-noise-cancelling Sony's)?

Just trying to get an idea of how well different options work...
