If any of you are getting PMs from New Users that are, well, a bit strange...

New Users won't be allowed to do this anymore. This is SPAM in our eyes.

If anyone is getting any kind of PMs which are suspect, please let us know so we can investigate and put a stop to it. This is abuse of that part of the site.

I just got an email notification that I had a PM from a user "einstein". When I went to private message page, there was nothing there.

Ok. sorry! That was unbelievably bad. I'll go away now.

I haven't recieved any bogus PMs as of yet!

That user was abusing the PM system, all their PMs, sent or otherwise were deleted - all of them were the same identical PM having to do with religion.

I keep getting strange PMs from established users. But that's expected, right? :D

That user was abusing the PM system, all their PMs, sent or otherwise were deleted - all of them were the same identical PM having to do with religion.

Gracias! Especially since we all know there is really only one religion, right?:cool:

OK, maybe I better cool it. My twisted humor gets me into trouble sometimes, especially since my wife's not on here to punch me in the arm and tell me to shut up. What would I do without her.

I got a warning from another site I'm on and it was this einstien [sp] guy too.

I got the exact same PM from "einstein" off a KLR650 board. Seems this einstein is a busy fellow.
