www.servicehonda.com is cheaper in some cases. Especially for me, since I have to pay tax at Ron Ayers. :D Ron Ayers is where I bought my ST though.

When I bought the parts to repair my crashed 05 I made a spreadsheet of prices from Service Honda, Zanoti, HDL, and Ron Ayres. Service Honda was the cheapest even though they charged for shipping while HDL had free shipping.

Give Tim (Hondacuraworld) (http://www.st-owners.com/forums/member.php?u=5961) a blast. I just priced brake parts and was pleasantly surprised. My order is sitting in his mailbox.

For you guys in Ontario.. Tim is a good guy and has very good prices... I have bought stuff off of him and been very pleased.

Also check Zanotti Motors, in Pennsylvania:

Almost always the cheapest I've found, but be sure to check shipping charges from all sources before ordering.

BTW, just checked Power Sport Pro for another part. Seems they no longer show the part number when ya hit "Check Cart." Went to Ron Ayers for the same piece and the part number popped right up.

Should I feel guilty for using their on-line services without actually ordering anything? No more so than trying on stuff at the local dealer and going on-line to buy.

Caveat Proprietor! (Seller Beware.) :D

Ron Ayers has the fiche online also, for looking up parts.

www.bikebandit.com also has fiche online as well... prices are pretty competitive too.

Have you looked at First Gear HT or HT air? They're available in long and short sizes, and well as normal.

When I priced the parts for a GL1800 front fork rebuild (complete without the tubes) I checked Ron Ayers, HDL and ServiceHonda.

At the end ServiceHonda beat all of them by a wide margin.

Especially HDL, which charges $2.50 for items that are below that price (i.e. washers) that cost $0.20 everywhere else.

It pays to compare those part prices.

Reiner, any chance you have a list of all the parts necessary for a fork rebuild? I'm at 45,000 miles and was thinking of holding off 'til 75k as I don't feel they really need it.. but it would be nice to have the parts ready for when I'm ready... I might throw some progressive springs in when I do it. Thanks..
