Where can a person buy a wide assortment of various OEM screws, bolts, nuts, clips, fasterners, etc. so when you need one (after losing one into the tupperware for example) you have it?

For OEM fasteners you'll have to go to places like Service Honda (http://www.servicehonda.com/) who will be cheaper than your local Honda dealer who will have to order than any way in most instances.

For thing like the plastic rivets you can find at places like Home Depot and J.C. Whitney (http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/StoreCatalogDisplay/c-10101/s-10101) to name a few.

Careful about ordering OEM fasteners from online dealers. Yes, the fastener price will be cheaper, but unless you're ordering a large quantity at once, or along with something else larger and more expensive, the shipping charges will likely more than outweigh the savings.

Now I find Bob Myers' picture quite appropriate for the topic of fastners. Look carefully at the "fasteners" on the spine. Very clever, Bob. Sorry I HAVE NO WORDS OF WISDOM REGARDING THE TOPIC. Nick

A bit on the extreme side, I admit, but my "endless" supply of OEM Honda fasteners was courtesy of buying job lots of "nuts, bolts and bits" from dismantled bikes on eBay. Maybe it's not so common over there, but on this side of the Pond people are "breaking" bikes all the time, selling the choicest parts on eBay and often have all the bolts and miscellaneous gubbins left over. Some of them have realised that they can sell that, too. I must have bought half a dozen such boxes, all from late-model or '90s Hondas, which I have now organised by sizes and functions. (I'm like that...:D) Might be worth looking into.

i found a good scorse for clip nuts at a local auto paint supply place..you might scearch out such a place near you. as for screws, unless you must have screws that are painted, like the ome ones that came with the bike.honda parts are about the only place i know of. myself i've taken such oppertunities to upgrade the look of my bike with stainless steel hex socket screws from companys that sell only fasteners. i don't know of any nation wide, but a quick look at you'r local y.pages will direct you.
