Greetings from a very wet UK.
I have decided to fit a Steble horn to my 06 ST1300, but am slightly confused as to which one to buy and fit.
Should I get the compact air horn, compact twin air horn, nautilus ???
Any advice gladly accepted.
I need a loud and reliable model. I will order the Eastern Beaver horn loom kit to fit.
regards
Jim

I am using the Steble single air horn. Seems loud enough to me. It comes with a relay in the kit. I used the "factory" wiring to trigger the relay and ran a seperate wire (I think I used #14) through a fuse to power the horn.

Only wrinkle was the spacer I saw in the infamous 'install' thead didn't come in the box. I used a few lock washers to install it and she's not going anywhere. The dogs in the neighborhood LOVE it.. :)

Make sure to point the horn entrance DOWN, or your lovely rain will fill it up!

A short loop of flexible tube connected to the horn's air intake will keep foreign matter from getting sucked in, including Rob's rain, bugs, road crud, etc.
