Greetings!

Got the RAM parts I ordered to get my Handheld CB installed on the bike.

Aside from possibly rerouting/rewiring some wires/cables, I should be pretty well set for awhile :) Here is a pic of my current setup:

1: Roady2 micro antenna
2: XM Roady2 Sattelite radio mounted on a RoadyHolder
3: Push to talk button for the CB radio
4: 2 into 1 12v adapter (purchased at Walmart) plugged into Honda's 12v outlet
5: Garmin eTrex Legend GPS RAM mounted on Motorcycle Larry's RAM ball mount on his risers
6: ON/OFF button for XM radio, allows me to turn off XM audio but still hear the CB. Otherwise when CB kicks in, one ear is CB & other ear XM.
7: Midland's Handheld CB radio

The wire laying on the tank hooks up to my full face helmet speakers, the clip by the on/off audio button clips onto my jacket's collar.

Can see all dashboard instruments just fine, can operate all MC controls just fine. I may get an external attena hooked up sometime for the CB, but for group ride purposes the handheld's antenna is workable if not great.

Your going to need a pilots license to operate that bike soon.

No, have to buy seperate. I got a Motocomm Headset/Communicator Interface - Full-Face MC-551 (http://www.casporttouring.com/store/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=17599&Category_Code=MotoComm) purchased from CASportTouring.

Also, the button that turns off the XM Radio input, or splits XM in one ear and XM/CB in the other ... did that come from Midland?

That is also from Motocomm, the AUX-1 Music Adapter Cable (http://www.casporttouring.com/store/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=17601&Category_Code=MotoComm), also purchased from CASportTouring.

Very cool setup. I'm wanting to add CB next.

Thanks :) I purchased the CB at amazon.com, it's a Midland 75-822 Handheld CB Radio. The antenna is ok for maybe a 12 bike ride from leader to tailgunner, after that it starts breaking up. Will eventually get an external antenna for it.

Currently (pun not intended), I am running the XM Roady2 & GPS off the 12v adapter splitter and the CB on batteries. Eventually want to get the XM Roady & GPS hardwired into the Quartet Harness and then I can run the CB off the 12v adapter.

It's called the "M" endorsement on my DL ;)

The only thing I have mounted full time is the XM Roady2. For my commuting and day to day riding that's all I want. The GPS is on for all of my recreational riding, solo, group, or whatever. When I am leading or tailgunning a ride I also want the CB, so will only have the CB installed on the bike for those occasions.
