Well, I've gone and done it.

(didn't know if I should put this here or in General Messages - Admins, please feel free to move).

Purchased FJR last Saturday. After all is said and done, I just think it fit me better.

I know this might be a stretch but I'd be honored to be allowed to remain. This is a great group of guys and if you'd allow a Feejer to ride with your ST's, I'd be happy to go with (hell, one of my best friends rides a Road King!).

Thanks and all my best,

Don

Ha ... everyone is allowed a mistake now and then :22yikes: . I also looked at the FJR , but the exact opposite happened. It was horrible to sit on .

Having a bike that fits is important though. Enjoy it !

It's not what you ride... it's that you ride! :) You have to ride what makes you happy... life is to short

Ride your ride Don.

Just wave to us the same way you'd wave to a HD... :D

Congrats!

Aww , Man! That's like asking to hang out with your ex-girlfriend/wife's buddies after you run off with her best friend!!!

OK, not as bad and we like you man! So hang with... We're cool.

I know how you feel.. the Wing seems to fit me better... I'd still like an ST in the stable and maybe once I get some personal issues worked out (:nuts1: ) I can but not at the moment...

You are obviously more than welcome to stay around here.

Nah, please use all your fingers when you wave at me:)

My riding buddy says "Honda fit and finish is better, smoother, better. I just love the FJR." Which is what he rides. I let him ride BEHIND me. Just kidding, I need to give him some sass even if he can't see it!

Funny you should mention "the wave." When I still had my Triumph, it must have looked enough like a Harley to get a wave or return wave from everybody. That's not true on the FJR. I haven't gotten any one-finger replies when I wave - just nuttin'! Heck, I wave at bicyclists - folks on two wheels is folks on two wheels (although I don't think the four-year olds in the neighborhood are ready to reciprocate.),

Thanks for the encouragement and acceptance - I promise not to be a stranger (well, no more so than usual!).

I, too, wave at bicylette, especially in the high mountain passes while they are cranking up-hill. I have a lot of respect for folks with big thighs. :)

DonCongratulations on the new bike. Stick around here, this is a great site, and IMHO, a lot more freindly than the FJR boards. I don't have an ST either, but talking about bikes here is far less likely to get someones panties in a bunch!:)
