View Full Version : Body Work
I just finished putting the body work back on the ST1300. The temp got up to 46 today and I saw several sport bikes on the road in the late afternoon. Most of the snow is gone and the roads are dry so I decided I had better get the bike ready for Sunday morning, I am determined to get a ride in. This is the first bike I have owned with a body and putting the body back together after having it off for over a month was a joy :( . I was really surprised that I only have one plastic rivet left over from my pile of parts! Life is good, bike ready to go and the weather looks good. :03biker:

I spent all reassembling mine after getting the recalls done and finishing the cruise install. Tomorrow will be more rammounts and figuring out how to install my new comm system.
Maybe I'll get lucky and get out for a while.

Well I got in a ride :D . Today is not nearly as nice as yesterday around here. My home thermometer says 34 and the bike said 32 degrees out, either way a bit chilly. The day is also overcast and a stiff east wind is blowing, but I got out! The heated grips and the Widder vest kept me comfortable. But when I came across some ice patches on a back road, it was time to head home. Nothing like a slick of ice covering the whole road to get you puckered up, just hang on tight and keep it straight and level.
How many days till spring????
