I learned the other day that my Mom has been diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer and it has spread to at least one lymph node. They will be surgically removing the tumor and the lymph nodes on 8/17/2007. My Mom's name is Genevieve Fitzpatrick and she lives in Ft. Collins, CO. I hate to ask for things for myself because I've been given so much already and there are so many with much greater needs than I, but if y'all would pray for my Mom, I'd really appreciate it.
I'm heading out to Colorado on the ST Monday to spend some time with Mom before the surgery and to be there when she wakes up. I'll probably get some riding in while I'm there, too. :)

You got it Dan... she sounds like a fighter.. I'm sure she will be glad you're there. Tell her there are bunch of biker dudes, and dudettes, cheering for her.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your Mom.There is nothing more precious than your Mom and Dad in this world.I have recently lost my Mom so I can empathize with you.I have also lost a brother this year due to cancer as well so it has been a really sucked year for me.Pls ride safe and try to keep your head clear so not to become a statistic yourself.

Thoughts & prayers from our family to yours.
Hang in there Dan and keep a peacefull spirit as I seem to remember you already have someone watching over you from past events. It's great that you want to be there for her not all parents have that type of relationship with thier children. Prayer went up.

Just heard mom didn't get discharged as intended yesterday because she was hallucinating on some pain meds... My sister is speculating that she has actually developed an addiction to hospital food... Anyhow, sounds like it's nothing serious.
