If so, what do you think of them, how do they sound with/without baffles? I've read not so pleasing things about the Two Brothers products, for other bikes, and was wondering about the Staintune product. I like the removable baffles... former Vtwin owner, loud pipes save lives :D . I've had too many close calls with minivan fenders on the STeed  ... more than anytime ever.
Your input would be appreciated!

I do not have the Staintunes but I have heard them. Phil from Seattle has them. They are louder and defintely sound badass. I think that without the baffles they would be too loud given the sound level with the baffles. The "popping" sound while decelerating off throttle is definetly louder. This is expected but you might not think of it.
I got them. Quality stuff, pricey if you buy new but if you are lucky like I was used is resonable.
Sound is pleasant with baffle in, slightly more growl with the baffle out, much better sound than the stockers. I do not have a noise problem when at hwy. speeds.
They do not change the flat spot, no notable seat of the pants increase in power, no change in fuel milage, still have to drop the right pipe to remove the axle...They just have a nice sound and look better on the ST than the stockers.
Would there be a notable increase in power with a K&N filter and Power Commander usb....Maybe but I have not gone that way yet. I find the ST has enough power for the riding I do on it, if I want warp speed I have a CBR1100XX that fills that need.
Get the Staintunes! they look mucho nice on the ST and much better than the Two Brothers cans.

That's what I wanted to know and hear! :D I had Roadhouse 65's on my Vtwin and road without baffles... 18 wheeler sound on decel... cut baffles in half and put back in... just right! I like the way the Staintune's look and sound (wav file)... Thanks guys!

I'm another happy Staintune user on ST1300. Actually make that two. My wife always rides 2-up with me. She found the sound desirable and not obnoxious. We always have the restrictors in place as that was the perfect sound level for us. As previously mentioned, really doesn't sound louder cruising at freeways speeds. You really hear a difference when you get on it hard.
Long story short, goodbye sewing machine, hello serious motorcycle.

Hey... if we charge a $5 per person membership be to say.... ah... 'maintain the servers'.... lol... we'd have enough to buy a set of Staintunes for both of us....
Was this a Private Message? I thought it was.... yeah, I'm sure I didn't post this to the board... boy, would that be NaSTy....

:biker: This board is fantastic and would be worth every penny! :duck: Watch out! My wife thinks I want to spend more!!!
Staintunes.... HAH!!!
all you need to do is get a gas axe, and whack them header pipes
off about 3 inches from the exhaust ports... (dont worry about
fires, melted plastic, excessive heat, etc) It's the sound, man, THE
SOUND!!! Huh?? you say something??
Putt...

I am surprised that is still up. I own that bike now and sold the Staintunes to Mike in New Mexico.

With the end tip (baffle) in, they are very quiet... 90 db so they say.... not near as quiet as stock but quiet.
90dB = quiet. That is pretty generous.
