Ordered a new Sargent Seat today. My back side is looking forward to the new seat!
I bought the New Seat from a dealer off of Ebay! Saved about $70 on Ebay. They have another listing for ST1300 already running. You buy - they order, no inventory overhead = Lower Price. Works for me. I ordered the All Black FX version. I understand the Blue ST1300s are faster with the all black seat.

You'll be happy... hey, I think there's also one on ebay, or there was earlier today.... fyi

What is the general consensus about aftermarket seats (kinda like asking about oil preference too). How would you rank Corbin, Russel, Bill Mayer, Sargent, Rich's etc. :duck:

Well... if you do a search on seats or check out the seat section of the product review forum, you'll see several different opinions. There's also a poll HERE (http://www.st-owners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2469&highlight=seats)
Anthony, it's true. I noticed a significant gain in hp as soon as I put the all black carbon fx Sargent seat on my blue ST1300.
Maybe it was just the weight reduction in my back pocket.
Either way, my wife and I really like the Sargent seat. At the price, I would have sent it back if it we didn't like it a whole bunch.

Got the UPS Tracking Email from Part Monster and the new Sargent seat is scheduled to arrive Wednesday March 2nd. Maybe the rain will stop and I can put a few miles on the new seat. The mason ride, weather permitting, should be a good road test.

Wonder if there is any way to re route that seat to my place. :)
Enjoy it sir.
