After reading so much about all the Stebel installs I figure why not, it also had a lot to do with the stock horn reminding me of a VW Beetle horn! Ordered the horn from CalSportTouring and a single horn harness from Eastern Beaver. The harness was here a day before the horn and both came quick IMO. After reading the post in here with the unintentional mounting hole provided by Honda I proceeded to the garage and took off some plastic, took off the stock horn, enlarged the hole and mounted the Stebel. Then I moved back to disconnect the battery ad start running the harness, I just followed a few existing harnesses making may way back from front to back wire ties along the way. Made all the connections turned the ST on and let's just say I need to find a newwork because this horn does not BEEP, yell, shout, scream, I don't know but that is not a beep! Put all the plstic back on the ST and was done in just shy of 2hrs. This is one all should do on any bike, small $$, small effort, large sounds = attention.
Huge props to Eastern Beaver! I used to do a lot of automotive electrical stuff and compared to this dude I'm sloppy! Best part is Idid have to worry about where to stuff excess....

Good deal, I've recently learned that I needed to up-rate the fuse to 20A after blowing out the 15A one honking at some stupid, deaf, blind illegals in a clapped out Toyota truck only a mile from my house coming home from WeSTOC. I had run a separate 12GA wire to the horn, so the circuit should be able to handle it.

I really resent your stereotyping people in Toyota trucks! How do you know they're... wait for it... wait for it... stupid!? :crackup

thesmithiz,
Did you get the regular horn wiring kit or the long one?

It must be something about Toyotas, For me I find anytime traffic is not flowing or something goes wrong fast there is almost always a Camry involved.
