Some of the games are not very well behaved about registering the scores... :(

having a blast. Some of these games are messed up though. I was playing the Darts one, I had a game with only 12 throws. The best you could do is 11 throws. The scoring sucks sometimes.

btw, someone try and beat my Space Invaders score. That was the one that started the whole video game thing anyway, remember?
I spent ALOT of quarters to get good at Space Invaders. To the point where if I played the original, I could never die. When Space Invaders Deluxe came out, I spent a bunch more quarters, but after a while, it was common for other kids to have to wait 45 minutes or so while I played a game. The only way they could clear the 10 letter high score (MIKENBETSY) was to unplug the machine. I kid you not, I was good.

oops, made a mistake. The best you could on the dart game is 10 throws. That would be 8 throws x 60 for 480, then 1 x 20 for 500, then 1 x 1 for 1.

Try Duplicate Bridge. You can waste 2 weeks at a time and a couple thousand dollars playing at a National event. I've been a bridge player for 20 years. Great game.
