It's been a long summer for me, but I think it is time for the Ohio ST-Owners to have another breakfast. September 30, 1000 at Bob Evans in Ashland. If enough southern folks show interest we can move it to Circleville if it is more convenient. I talked with Rick, Connie, and Kevin at WeSToc and they are ready to meet more of you Ohioans also.

(FallSTOC ) on that day so I dont think we will be able to make it that day. Dont know about Rick & connie but if you move it one week either way I think I would be able to make it. (By the way the problem with my MC cruse ended up being my rear brake light switch sticking not the cruse)

I'll be in Mansfield that weekend (Oct 6-7) visiting my grandparents, so Ashland is right down the road.. I guess I can swing by Ashland on my way back to Maryland!

Did I say I was from michigan? Well, let me set the record straight! I'm from Indiana! I just live in Michigan, not that Indiana is all that much better but as far as foot ball.......

:( Well, the verdict is in! My wife say's no to the 7th! I was afraid of that since her birthday is the 9th and we'll most likely be celebrating the weekend of the RTE. She said I could go but that would be so wrong. No way I'm going without her that close to her special day!:noway Besides, she expressed some concern about riding the 260 miles in one day!:o4: She's never done that many miles in a day before so rather than have her go on a ride she's not confident about, I'll bide my time and get her to go next year. It doesn't help that she just got transfered to a new 3rd grade position where she teaches. Setting up the room and learning the new curiculum has been a ton of work for her and she's feeling pretty whipped at the end of each school day and has a mountain of papers to grade. Might keep her off her Magna for the rest of the season.:shrug2:

Thank you Motomac and all, for offering your Ohio hospitality to me! Maybe the next RTE as long as the snow isn't flying!:hat1:

What a GREAT way to meet you folks!! We really enjoyed the ride up (spirited!), breakfast get-together, and our return. "Uncle Bob" put on a great spread, as always. And Annette and I enjoyed our conversations.

MotoMac and Gail, Ron and Marsha (handle??), SOWRY (Rick and Connie), KESSIE and NATURALLY WIRED and Janet, it was a pleasure meeting you all. Now I have some faces (some only a mother could love :rolleyes: ) to put with the handles!

Hopefully we can help work out some details for 08 OH-STOC, as it sounds like Zanesville will be the home for this and we are probably one of the closer STOCers.

What an absolutely gorgeous day!!! Thank you to the 10 other folks that showed up. It was great to meet the 5 new folks Janet, Annette, Marsha, Ron, and Pat. I've got great grop picture, but my PC modem bit the dust when a power outage restarted in my absence today, so I have to wait to post it.. As always it was good to see Ken, Kevin, Rick, Connie again and of course my SO. Before we get carried away with Zanesville for OHSToc '08, I intend to look at Burr Oak as well. Actually I looked at a place in Harrisonburg VA this morning, but due to my modem not working I hadn't PMed you. It's called Cuzz's BBQ. Never been there but I was plugging different cities in my Streets and Trips and came up with that one. Maybe someone can help us out.

Joe, I am just another guy in the ST scheme. If anyone in Ohio feels the need to hold a breakfast, just post a date, place, and time and people will express whether it is good or not. I personally would like us to get together once a week like they do in TX and KC.
