Helmet Choices

Since I now have a 'red' 05 ST as compared to my 'red' 95 ST I was thinking about changing helmets. Trying to get one that matches the new bike. I currently have a Nolan N100E Classic and was wondering if any of the guys with new bikes have seen the "Wineberry" Nolan N100E's. Does anyone know if they match the 05 'red'.

No one in town sales them here in Panama City so I would have to ordered it online (already know what size to get), but need to know if it will 'match' the new bike

Take a look at the Shoei RF-1000 in wine color. Looks close. I decided to get a graphics helmet this time and got the Silver Voltage TC5 RF-1000 even before I ended up with a Red 05. I decided the silver would go with anything. Now I think I might have gotten the red Voltage TC1 instead. Also Shoei makes a Honda version of the Voltage in Red. I believe I bought mine at Helmetharbor.com for around $330 with free delivery.

I was wondering the same thing. I might get the new 05 Nolan X-lite 1002 but they don't come in red. They do have black, since part of the bike is black least be matching something.

I use an older SHOEI RF-R which now fits like a glove ... or rather a helmet :) ... the new CL-14 got rave reviews from my SO as well as me, but it was purchased as a low-dollar, quality alternative. I kinda favour SHOEI over Arai, Corbin over ___ ... in the end it what *fits* your head more than anything else. ;)

I have just (quite literally just 15 minutes ago) taken delivery of 2 x Nolan N101 - X1002 (aka: Vintage VPS) helmets. They're in Platinum/Silver that match my '04 UK Metallic Silver ST13A/Pan-European.

Absolutely beautiful lids, that fit like a glove. But no chance of getting these in Candy Red or Wineberry. Available colors are:-
Platinum Silver
Metal Black
Atlantic Blue
Titanium Grey
Flat Black

Fireball I saw their site, but from the picture (not that great) I can't tell if its the same red as the ST

I just checked it out again, and although they say it's wineberry, the picture there looks like it has more orange in it. Close, but no cigar, judging from their photo. Maybe it's just the picture. I'd like to see one in person.

Go with black ... you can't go wrong, fits all bikes ... :cool:
