Well, by the end of this week all the rumors, on non-rumors
will be answered.
Will there be a revamped ST? Will there be a new V-5?
Will there be a new entry into the Sport Touring arena?
That's just a few questions concerning Honda, what surprises
do the other manufacturers have in store?
More later this week.
V-5 with self aiming lasers,,, and I won't be able to write the check FAST enough!!!:duck:

I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer. My wife is the one with the engineering degree.
How do you make a V5? Three on one bank and two on the other?
Or, creatively advertise it, like Volkswagon's V5. 5 Cylinders all at the same angle & bank but, call it a V5.
Please Ma Honda, stick with the bullet proof, indestructible, miles proven V4 design you have in the ST. Maybe switch to a MAF/load system instead of a speed density fuel injection system.

I hope it's a V5, then I can use all my fingers when I wave at Harley riders when they give me the 'two down low'. I'll even yell "Hi-Hi!". That will be sweeeet.

Yup, that's what they'd do... you can make an engine any configuration you want. Look at the wing, you could lop off one cylinder and make a flat-5.
I'm not a mech engineer so I don't know all the benefits to different configurations.

There's not much out there typically, until the show has occurred then you'll see pics from people at the show. It's all manufacturers, at least as far as I know. I don't know what the requirements are to be in the show. It's pretty much just a teaser for the IMS shows that tour afterwards and where the public is invited.

The dealer show is just that, a Honda dealers show, that is where they introduce all the models to their dealers and then the dealers get together with their regional reps to order their bikes for the up coming season, Its a two or three day event that wines and dines the dealers. They introduce some of the riders from race teams there also, at least that is the way it was when I attended one in Annahiem. Some speeches from high corporate officals about where they predict the market is going, and of course making money, both for the dealers and the corporation. :biker:

Wow! Put a shaft drive on that, and I'd almost have to have one. 1000cc with its weight would be killer fast. Slap on some side bags and risers, and you've got yourself a Concours killer. I'm in. Where do I sign? :hotpepper

I participated in a motorcycle survey earlier this year. It turned out to be for cruiser bikes.
There were 2 models, very much alike, one a pretty sparkly red and the other a pretty sparkly blue. They were choppers like OCC would build. Very flashy.
But we all know how practical they would be. Three miles and you would be ready to get off.
They wouldn't say who the manufacturer was (no emblems, etc.), but I figured Honda, maybe Yamaha.
If they decide to market them I'm sure it would be a couple of years.
Oh well, it payed $75 just to look at bikes and tell them what you thought.

White is the combination of all colors, that's why the ST1300P's are white. They are truly the fastest. :policeST:
Black is the absence of color. Sit in a room with no light at all and what do you see? Nothing. Blackness. Just sitting there. ;)

Depends on if you're talking about additive color (light) or subtractive color (pigment).
Just to spin your head around a bit further, consider... you mix up a bunch of colors to get "black", but then you have no color since it doesn't reflect any colors back!
