More light is good.
On to the obvious questions:
What variety of lights?
How did you wire them in?
Where's the switch?
Also let us know how they do lighting up the night.

They are 55 watt lamps of some sort that I got at advance auto parts. The wiring that came with them sucked, so I made my own, along with replacing the switch. They seem to work very well for what I wanted, being more visible to others, not so much that I needed to see better. One thing that i have noticed is that they seem to get very hot. I ended up buying an illuminated rocker switch from the shack and putting it opposite my heated grips control, which is in the little spot between the dash pocket and the tank.

How did you mount them?

Mounted them using the brackets that came with them. I mounted them with alens that attatch the fender.
Which lights are they? Brand and model?

Ah yeah, I have seen those at Wal-Mart. Do they throw a pencil beam or fog beam?
Thanks - they probably work as well as the higher dollar "name" brand.
Question:
What are the pros & cons for mounting the lights on the forks as opposed to under the mirrors ?

Did you have to take all the plastic off to hook the electrical connections - I have a set and need to mount, but was going to let the dealer do it cause I don't feel like doing that part - but if it only took a couple of hours (that means 3-4 for me cause if something will go wrong to make it harder I will find it :-) )
I like my fork mount. I think they provide a larger "light image" to other drivers being seperated from the head lights.

the only body work that had to be removed was the fairing cowl, so I could run the wiring. Then I had to dill the hole for the switch and that was it, simple quick and clean.

Do the light beams dance around on the road because of your mounting location?

Hey they look good. Haven't been out in a while but last time I was there Walmart had some neat rather small lights in cast aluminum housing I was interested in. May have to go and take another look.

they do not seem to dance around at all. But as I previously stated I bought these to be more visible, not to have more visibility.

I bought mine at WalMart for about $15 and mounted them directly in the side reflector holes. They work great, especially in the morning when the whitetail forest rats are on the move. If one goes out I'll just buy another set, the wires are already in place. :)
