Where is the best place to get power from for a set of aftermarket grip heaters? How much plastic has to come off?

In my case, I installed a power block for all of my accessories so they'd all be switched. I had all of the tupperware off when I did this install as I was working on multiple farkles.

Got everything I needed for my hot grips from these guys: http://www.2wheelinnovations.com/ - heaters as well as a Heat Troller. Dumped the stock grips for foam replacements, the crowning touch.
