Greetings,

I want to get the smallest 12v outlet air compressor I can get that won't take an hour to pump up a tire. Not from a complete flat, have a tire plugger kit with CO2 for that, just to keep the tires topped off at the right PSI.

Frtom searching the web have come up with this so far:

Cat#4612 at http://www.aerostich.com/riderwearhouse.store

Any thoughts?

I bought a cheap 12V compressor from Walmart, took the casing off and I just carry the guts around with me. Works like a champ and the guts look a lot like the one on the MicPeak link. I think I paid 12 dollars for it. I had to use this once when I needed to plug a tire on my VFR. It worked well and I'm glad I had it in my toolbag.

I also bought a tire gauge from Brookstone that allows you to check and fill the air with the gauge attatched to the valve stem. Makes things a lot easier and you don't have to deal with the tight fit of getting to the valve stems with an air chuck.

While this isn't new to many folks, HERE'S (http://www.sporttouring.info/WEB_PAGES/AIR_COMPRESSOR_PAGE/AIR_COMPRESSOR_PAGE.html) what I did for my ST1100. I'm keeping the compressor and wiring in an outlet for the 1300 when the parts arrive.
Hey I like that idea of it always being with you. Good job.
