I race a '93 F2 in a couple of Vintage classes and Senior Superbike (40+ year olds) with WERA. I really love it. WERA is the greatest, the people become like family. I go racing about one weekend a month from March thru September. It's the greatest way to spend a weekend, we camp out at the track, race, watch races, have campfires, talk about motorcycles, eat, drink and are generally merry.
I like the Vintage classes, the guys that do that are mostly 35-55 years old. I practice with the modern bikes, but I get my *** kicked by those young'ins. The older guys are safer to race with too, we all know we have to go back to work on Mondays, no punting each other of the track for a $10 trophy.
Go check out a race weekend, the schedule is on the WERA sight. You can spectate for $20 for the whole weekend, bring your tent and have some fun. We are almost done for the year though, my last races are in two weeks at Summit Point, WV. I was just at Nelson Ledges in Ohio last month.
Let me know if you have any specific questions. Or check out wera.com. Everything is there you need to know, schedules, the rule book, and a great bbs.

I didn't realize you already race, I thought you were thinking about getting into it. Sorry for the long rant. I guess you already know how much fun it is. Hope to see you out there. I'm yellow plates #444.
Below was at VIR, nice photography work. Cracked 3 ribs. Bike faired pretty good. They don't make them like they used to.
