Holy Cow. It's as cool in Yuma as it is in the TwinCities! I'd guess that'd be as warm as it is in the TC?
Anyway, it's 70º here in Yuma, AZ. I've put out the garbage and gotten the paper, sure feels good!
Good Morning, Good Riding!
Only 70F this morning... and drier! Yeah!!!
Coffee sounds good... I better get the pot brewing...
Ride safe!

:coffee1: (You Know!):hat1:
Coffee in my cup, on my desk, sliding down the hatch...
63 this a.m. for the ride in and 84 as a high! Lotsa sunshine too!
Worked on the deck last night until after dark (man almost got my thumb with that hammer!:o4: Better quite since I can't see anymore.) Mosquitos were thick as thieves so I ran to Wally World to get some of those Citranella candles....out of season! Paid the big bucks from the hardware this morning for them. At least I'll have a little protection tonight!:-D
Going to go for a ride during my lunch!:a13: Hope you all get to ride too!!!
Have a great day!

Have a good day all and ride safe.

Hey Tom.....try the spray called "Deep Woods" by OFF,camping section at wally world.
EJ
I'm with Ed; the candles don't work as well as DEET; and the spray can go on clothes so they don't suck through your jeans or a thin shirt.
If the spray has over 27% it will work great (The best concentration is in the 30%; but, in the area will do).

LOL! Thanks for the sugestions guys! I did get some repellant but I want the candles to place across the opening of the garage door! It tends to create a barrier that keeps most of the mosquitos out so that I can cut the wood I need or work on the ST in peace! I've been doing this for a while and it works pretty well. I have to agree thou that when I'm outside the garage the candles, no matter/how where you place them are pretty useless!
Thanks again!!

You might have to consider relocation as an alternative to that activity...

Relocation might be beneficial either way. Although today it wasn't the weather that kept me off, it's the remains of the September crud that's going around over here.
I've reached the stage where I sound like Henry Kissinger, which for me usually means I'm turning the corner. If recovery continues, I should be back on the bike tomorrow.

Been busy this morning, had my coffee and waffle. Got the ST jacked up and changed the rear tire. I thought my platinum Dunlop was to the wear bars, but surprise when I got it off and saw metal shining on parts of the tread!!! Anyhoo, got the new Storm mounted on the rear and now I have a set, though the front one is on the north side of 10K miles. Still looks good, not
anywhere near the bars. So have a terrific Tuesday everyone.

Morning all! :hat1:
Somedays it just PAYS to ride a motorcycle! Take today for example; Accident on the north bound 215 in Riverside had traffic backed up for about 10 miles and moving very slowly. I was able to split it doing about 25. :biker:
I was still later then normal, but only by 15 minutes. If I would have brought the cage in like yesterday, I would still be in it! :nanner1:
It was 55 leaving the house today and 64 when I arrived in San Burn-arse-dino. Should top off around 80. Rain expected on Thursday and Friday and possible stuff on Saturday. :rain1:
Oat:puk1: was SOS
Coola nd sunny in the great NW today. I rode the pedal bike to work - not worth getting 100 hp fired up for a 0.7 mile ride.

Coffee is fresh, P&B on whole wheat for b'kfast along with the standard OJ and 'nana.
I have a bunch of fone calls to return, not everyone has heard that I'm "retired." :)

I wonder if the *long* bicycle ride is why Dan posted so late this morning! :)
