I have to take my van.... Cheesecakes don't fit in my saddlebags...
Unbelievable!:hat1:
They WILL fit if you use BACON grease to get them in, they just won't resemble cheesecake anymore but they'll taste much better laced with BACON and plastic!!:a13:

Morning all. 60deg. at home when I left, lots & lots of fog, bad enough I had to stop and check on a roll-over....Toyota cilica, one of the older models
rolled in the median, car was beat up, driver looked ok but couldn't get close for all the other folk around so it looked as though I couldn't do anything but get in the way. All of us that were there used our 4-ways til the emergancy crews rolled up and I came on in. I really wished I had been on the ST to see how effective the fork lights were in fog....but I'm sure I'll get my chance before winter. Just low 80's forcast for here and some more rain, we really got hit hard yesterday, but the desert needed green'in up anyway. Pinon coffee from the Stanley and it's time 4 work.....well in a few anyway.
TGIF all ride safe out there.
EJ :D
Coffee goodness is working... weather is funny, thunder storms but the wind is from the west... we usually get all our t storm action from storms that come from the southeast. Still it is cooler in the mornings so I don't care!
Milehigh; get in those mountain trips now... that frozen stuff is only a short time away! And you can probably enjoy the mountain scenery just fine on 4 wheels... might be able to rubber neck even more when on more than 2 wheels...
Ride safe!

Morning all,
Oh, boy! Yuma weather can't be beat right now.... Sad to be working this weekend. Started a building a post & beam shade structure by pool last weekend & now need what I thought would be simple "load-bearing" corner post brackets... turns out I can't find them 4 little o'l brackets for less than $500.00... so, I'm gonna fire up the chop saw & MIG welder this weekend & build em myself... There goes a beautiful riding weekend. :(
Y'all have a safe & fun one.

Hi Bob, say..... don't they still sell outside corner joist hangers? I know several years back we had to get some for a next door neigbor when we were hanging a porch off his mobile home.
Hmmmm regular hangers wouldn't work but I seem to remember these things were pretty stout. I know, I know Back to Coffee.....I am working on the 2nd cup and jus' found out the boss isn't here today or Monday:-D
Later ...... Ed :D

The 115 year drought seems to be over...whew and I still
have my yard...some of my neighbors don't. A few 70 degree
mornings sure have felt good....think I'll finish my coffee
and roll em.

Morning all! :hat1:
We are expecting ThunderStorms to arrive this afternoon, so I drove the rental cage in again. Looks like the weather will be back up to the upper 80's and low 90's next week! What a way to start off the Fall with rain...in SoCal no less! :bow1:
The rain should be with us tomorrow too, but that is not going to be a problem since Byron and his Magical Tire Machine will be showing up for a HamptonTireSTOC. Both my sons bikes tires and mine are going to get changed out for our "Class" at Willow Springs next Friday! :woo We also have to bleed brakes, change oil, change rearend oil, Change sparkplugs, clean the air filther and I'll probably try to sync the starter valves. :tools1:
Oat:puk1: was SOS, but only one package since I'm waiting for the bagels to arrive! :eat2:

Hey. Hey, Psssst. Hey.
I escaped. Don't pay the ransom.
I was at it until what is normaly coffee start time for me. Uggh, but, I have most of today to recover, and then a weekend ride is in order. Been too long, I am here to tell you...
I still have a fair back log of stuff to do, so I won't go back to the poor house, I don't think...
Weather is cool enough, I think I will put my armour back into the winter jacket. High of less than 90º today, if you can imagine...

You know, since you're not going to be productive you might as well take the rest of the day off... and why not throw caution to the wind and skip going in for the next 2 days!!!

I think I just need to go find an excuse to tend to my antenna farm, which just happens to be up on the roof...
