Hello to all
I've deleted this thread info. Time to let this one die a peaceful death.

Use CDs, not floppys, or better yet, use flash drives.

So, some rough calculations:
. using rough dimensions (couldn't find actual thickness of floppy) 8.3 x 9.3 x 0.2[the guess] cm for volume of floppy
which = .154 cubic meters
His conversion of cubic centimeters into cubic meters is off by a factor of 10,000 (1 cubic meter = 1,000,000 cubic centimeters)
I measured a floppy disk using a caliper getting the following... 9.0 x 9.3 x .34 = 27.6 cm^3 which is equal to 2.76E-5 m^3.
If you define one Petabyte as 10E15 bytes, multiplied by 14 and divide the formatted size of a floppy (1.47Mbytes) you get about 9.524 billion floppies. Multiply that by 2.76E-5 and that equals 262,857 cubic meters or 9.2 million cubic feet.

Arrr! Hijack!
Speaking of computer related things, can you imagine what a bummer it would be if this was your internet options?
In case you can't read the fine print, it says "Excludes illegal material."

That is really funny and interesting......
Bill Gates said in a speech a few years back;
"be kind to nerds, someday one may be your boss"
