This dropped off when I was taking the tupperware off the left side. The rubber piece is about 1 1/4" by 1/2" and has a sponge rubber filter. I looked thru the parts manual and couldn't find it. Does anyone know where it goes?
Once Upon a time..I do recall someone long ago finding this part on the floor. 'We' decided it is a drain dealie for the HL assy. I do not recall ever seeing one on my bike but I have never had THAT part off...yet.
The STrange thing is, it's NOT in the parts catalog that 'we' know of.
A part from an alien spacecraft?

And I thought that whine was from the ST. Yikes!!!
Yeah Don, I checked the whole parts catalog and couldn't find anything even remotely like this. Thanks. :)

That's the horn!!!!....no, no,......that's the driveshaft.......uhhh, no.......maybe it's the..uhh.....oh I don't know! Never seen it before.
I wonder if possibly you might have run over that piece on the road and the front tire kicked it up into your engine compartment. Maybe it's not even a honda part.

I had the front end tupperware stripped from my ST a few weeks back and I don't remember seeing anything like this. My guess is that it's something the cat brought in when you weren't looking.

I got it!...If you look down between the right fairing pocket and the right fork at the headlight housing you can barely see it but here I snapped a photo for ya. In the picture it's right behind that 2 wire harness.

Who's better than you Brian!!! Thanks, great detective work. I had everyone stumped except you. I guess I can put it back now and I may not have to remove any more plastic. :D Thanks again. :bow1:
