View Full Version : GoldWing Recalls
Honda has been forced to recall all GoldWing models because of a mysterious tendency to pull to the right or left when passing Dairy Queen restaurants. The company says the only solution they have been able to work out is to drive directly to and from Dairy Queen's and not try to pass without stopping. This has led to many riders putting on extra pounds and the result has been a rash of broken frames. At present the factory is studying how Harley Davidson overcame the "jellybelly rider" problem. Rumor has it that H-D will be building GoldWing frames in the near future.

Seems Honda's Mini-Wing (The ST) has a similar issue:

This will put a serious damper on fun...

I think there is a consultant in Texas who can help with
this problem.
I thought the DQ thing was a 'feature' on the GW.

Why the iWay 500c with my Motorcycle Skin (http://stwiki.notonthe.net/twiki/bin/view/IWay500c/MotorcycleSkin) is best for Gold Wingers:

(This is the "Finds" screen, without the text in it)
Take that, Garmin! :)

I was reading about some sort of upgrade to the NAV system on wings in the new issue of RedRider mag. Now I know what the upgrade is all about.:)

Does this mean the ST's will be going back to steel frames?
