Tried this 5:45a.m. but couldn't get it to fly!:( Unbelievable:doh1:
Said I didn't have coffe yet and was going to meet co-workers for breakfast but that was then and this is now! Happy tummy and 3 cups gone! 48 degrees when I left the house with a predicted high of 72 and sunshine! I guess that if I had posted this earlier I wouldn't be sharing this:
Of coarse I worked on the deck again last night (I'll get to that in a sec) and forgot to put the hose away. Backed the STreamliner out into the drive and heard a distinct HHHSSSSSSssssss! Uh,Oh thinks I!:o4: Not a good time to have a flat! Might have to DRIVE!:( I got off the STreamliner to see what was up and realized it was the garden hose!:doh1: Whew! So anyway, I roll it back up under the bush where we keep it and drop the nozzle in the center. It promptly popped on and locked spraying straight up into my crotch! :22yikes: Now I'm VERY wet! Nice!:doh1: Gonna make for a cold ride to be even colder! Oh well, guess you'll have that! Thank God for the STreamliners protection. The ride wasn't too bad after all.:clap2:
As for the deck, I put a new post (for a future fence) on it last night and cemented (ie the dang hose this morning) it in place as well as pouring the pad where the steps are supposed to go! Still not pretty but getting there!

If you look closely you can see the 2007 penny my daughter put in the cement! Might not be as clear as my original pic thou as I reduced the size of the pics so they'd load a bit faster!
Anyway! Y'all have an unbelievably great weekend and get plenty of riding done! Oh, almost forgot! The o'l STreamliner turned 42K on the odo yesterday! Made me see how many miles I've put on her since I got her this year! By the time I put her away for the winter, it'll be a record for me, just over 5k in a year!!! Plus I put a few on the Night Hawk before I got the STreamliner too!!!:hat1:
Only 75F this morning... Fall is definitely here!
Coffee tastes pretty good.
Late night last night.
Jack's choir concert (he's in an honor and acapella choir this year) went real well. Last year I made a cdrom of the pictures I took and saw them hanging on school's walls at the next concert. One of the year book people hunted Jack down and asked if his dad was going to take pictures. She stuttered over the next part and Jack guessed the reason and let her know I would take pictures and donate them again... I thought it was a nice compliment.
I took 273 pictures! I use available light as much as possible so I don't disturb the kids; so, 110 of them were blurry. :) A repeat of the concert tonight so I'll see if I can get a couple hundred more good shots. :) Only 334 meg so far; I can take just as many and they'll still fit on a cdrom.
The lighting wasn't very good last night; hope the light crew figures it out... here are 2 shots. Jack's in both; but, naturally from my seat I couldn't see him most of the time

G-morning all. TGIF. About 48deg when I left the house and it's suppose to get windy and hi 70's this afternoon so if things are right I'll leave early again and finish up that dasterly plumbing job at the casa so I can enjoy some :beer8: Course' when you doing plumbing you should have a sip or 2 to keep the courage up  Coffee from the Stanley is good and we'll start with a nanner for a sweetner. Yo Tom I wish you'd clock your pic's.....quick glance show'd a ladder there :p:
Have a good day all & ride safe.

Morning all
No coffee for me. Have to have some bloodwork done. Weather ??? Here it is almost October and temps in the high 80s, low 90s. And still no rain. We're in stage 3 water conservation now. NO lawn watering or vehicle washing at all. But on the bright side it's GREAT bike riding weather.

Youse guys shouldn't be talking about "putting up the ST for the winter." I rode year 'round in Chicago land for years. Of course, I had to replace my rusty swing arm this year when I put STick back on the road.
59º, going to 87 today. Beautiful day for a ride. I think I'll go to SierraSTOC. See some of ya there.
But first, COFFEE!

Yeah... I didn't know what to expect when he wanted to go to a brick n mortar high school after being homeschooled through 8th grade. He's bringing home straight As... makes me just a wee bit proud of him... :)
The pictures are just a way that I feel I can support him without him getting defensive about it... after all he is a teenager! :)
