OK, so it sounds funny, but this past weekend I did 1,060 miles in Eastern Oregon where the night time temps dipped to the 30s. I camped in two State Parks--LaPine and Palisades Cove-where all the sites have electrical hookups. The blanket was the difference between heaven and hell. I highly reccd it, or you might spend a few cold nights wondering where the nearest Target store is. Also, lesson learned: Spend the most money on your ground mattress. Since you aren't backpacking, weight isn't the object, but comfort is.

And thanks to all the concerned drivers and nice folks in Oregon who keep roads in great shape-truly a pleasure to ride in Oregon.

Ah... what if it rained while you were sleeping?...

Of course it rained; it's Oregon! Just make sure the socket is in the tent; makes it easier to plug in your Espresso machine.

There you go Motomac, an idea for another piece of gear for your bunk house. Maybe only needed next time you come to the great NW.

Ya' know she has mentioned that more than once. She has one on her bed, I don't own one. King size sheets are bad enough, but I can only imagine how much a king size electric blanket would set me back.

Hey, Mac. What a great idea. You could put a bulkhead connector in the floor, and you wouldn't even have to get out to make the coffee! :)

There are a few folks that have done that to their Bunkhouses, but I still perk my coffee at campgrounds. Coffee maker takes up too much room.
