Hello all... question re communicating between those in CT and surrounding states: Where do you all post things like day rides and the like? I try to get out most weekend days and would enjoy meeting up with anyone that wanted to tool around for the day. I'm fine with the RTE type thing but looking through the RTE forum for someone in this area is a bit time-consuming.
So... any thoughts on keeping abreast of what's happening and/or letting you all know when I'm going out myself??
Ride safe... Bob

I always click on the "unread posts" link when I log on. It shows everything from every fourm since I last logged on.

I haven't connected with any of the ride/events in the NE region from this forum. Others have. You will notice that there are some of us here that are also over on the New England Riders forum. Might want to check out their web page and forum to see if we are of intrest to you.

Thanks, all... and nice to 'meet' you. I'm still learning my way around this forum and I appreciate all the tips. My unread posts link shows 16,852 so I better read fast! Surely a way to clear that... I'll find it :) Thanks for the info on the New England forum as well.

I agree with Les. New England Riders is a great place. We have RTE's called WOW's and plenty of rides. Hope to see you on our forum soon.

Thanks ChevyPC. I took Les' advice and did go over to the NE riders web site... very nice indeed and you all certainly look active. I will make a point of checking it frequently.

Welcome Bob. I just spotted this thread. I'm surprised you haven't heard from GG or Todd yet. In any case, hope to see you at some of our local events. If you are ever looking for somone to ride with, send me a PM. I get out most weekends as long as the roads aren't too dirty, wet or icey.- john
