In July 1999, I took my first motorcylce trip to Alaska. I had a 1998 Wing and a '95 Bunkhouse. I did over 1500 miles on dirt and gravel roads up in the NW of Canada and Alaska. I tried to load four pictures but two were to large and I don't know how to make them the right size so here are two.

No, as much as I salivate every time I see one, I just don't have the room in my garage.

I have said this before, and I'll say it again: If I could only afford one motorcycle, it would be a Gold Wing!!!!!!

That's the point... you'd still have 2 motorcycles! :)

And I ain't getting rid of the ST for a while. With 65,640 miles on it, it is just getting broke in.

Oh man! I lived in Inuvik for several years, and driving the Dempster was something I did in my 4x4 truck with at least 2 spare tires That is 457 miles of spectacular sceanery and brutal road.

I found the gravel roads in Canada much better maintained than the ones in Alaska. I ran the Campbell Highway that trip also.
