OK, Here's what I did to replace my ratty-ol' OEM toolkit holder. I'm a "frugal" (cheap) kinda guy, and I also try to reuse/recycle whenever possible.
We had finished off a container of Kraft "Mayo" (in the new rectangular flip-top plastic container) which I had rinsed out for the recycling. It looked suspiciously handy. So I washed it out and placed it with my "inventory".
I was going over my recently acquired ST, checking out the contents of the toolkit and I thought "What can I replace the toolkit sleeve with, and get more tools into?" :!: Ding, the light turned on.
Grabbed the ol Mayo container and did a trial fit; YES, like a glove!
So I have all the original tools (I think), + needle nosed pliers, side-cuts, small amount of electrical tape, small spool of wire, tire "gummy worms" and both tools for them, swiss army knife, and a few other small odds-n-ends. I like the fact that the container is clear, makes it easy to see whats in it!
I used a long piece of 2sided velcro to secure the lid and stuck it all in the original location. Works GREAT!
