Have any riders out there had any experience with the
Held Steve Glove
http://www.newenough.com/held_steve_glove_page.htm
or the Helimot Buffalo 365
http://www.helimot.com/catalog/gloves/helimot/buffalo/gloves_buffalo_data.shtml
They both look to be great quality.
I'm wondering about the rivets on the Held gloves sitting on my throttlerocker?

Andy,
I've had a pair of the Held Steve gloves for almost two years now and I'm very happy with them. At first they were a little stiff, but they quickly became soft after riding with them for a week or so. I've had them on in 100 degree days and did not find them uncomfortable. I don't think the palm rivets would interfere with any controls or throttle rocker.
If I had not found the Held gloves locally, I probably would have purchased the Helimot gloves.
I don't think you could go wrong with either pair for sport touring.

A guy I ride R6's with got a pair of the Helimot and said he likes them a lot. BUT he says when they get wet in the rain the foam padding on the top of the hand soaks it up like a sponge.
I was torn between the same 2 gloves and posted for reviews on sport-touring.net where I got many replies favorable to both. For the same $$$ as the 365 I went with the Held Profi from www.newenough.com (http://www.newenough.com). I haven't got to ride with them yet, but oooohhhhh they are soooo comfy and soft and supple. It is hard to imagine they would protect at all but the Profi has a great reputation for good protection. The reason I went with the Profi was I plan to wear them on the R6 and ST, so I was looking for high protection and comfort.
Here are the links to the reviews I found.....

I also have a set of Held Profi gloves. I love them...and I am very picky when it comes to gloves and boots (and pretty much everything else).

I've got a pair of Held Steves gloves I bought this winter and I love them. They fit my large hands and fingers perfectly and seem to be well made. I'll know more about durability after the riding season is done. My previous gloves (JR's) were toast after just a seasons riding.
