Does anyone know if there is a drinkholder available for the ST1300?

Go to this website, www.motorcyclelarry.com. I just bought a drink holder from larry. Works great.

I looked into the drink holder idea awhile back.

Aerostich has a one, (search for item 1377). GoldWing holders are a possibility as the bolt patterns on the clutch and brake reservoirs are the same as the ST - (I believe this is correct, check first. I never got that far). Also, try a search on the MSN site (ST1300US). I know you'll find several options here - from homemade velcro specials on up.

My choice?

Camelback.

I usually just put the bladder into my tank bag. Wearing the back pack is not for me. Although I saw a cool looking adventure touring coat the other day that had a camelback bladder pocket built into it. I think I could handle that. If you want to see it I think I could find a pic. Either Aerostich or CST, if memory serves.

Just check out your local bicycle shop for bottle holders. I found a nice one that uses velcro straps and didn't cost much.

If you look into the left fairing pocket, you will notice the rounded shape at the front. Obviously made to hold a hot drink. :)

OK, maybe I'm asking a silly question here:

WHY ? When you're stopped you can just put the bike on the centre stand and use the fuel cap to rest your cup on. Dash works as well. Other than that, you could caffeine up and then go (alternatively get a thermos flask and fill it at Starbucks/Pete's/whatever and put in luggage).

I guess everyone has there riding style. I don't mess with eating or drinking while riding unless I have a Camelbak and don't do that if the temp and humidity is down. I ride aggresively and don't need the distractions unless I am slabbin it for many miles but then I still stop for a few minutes for protein bar or something.

I believe I'll try the fairing pocket. I am just looking for a place to put a bottle of water while I am out on a cruize. Those hot summer days I like to get water regularly in me. That would allow me to pull off the road and take a few swigs. Need to hydrate. Thanks for all your input

I'd put it in the right pocket unless you like really warm water :D

Please tell me it isn't true! What is it with Americans and drink holders?

Hitcher, I guess it's the long lonely freeways in the high desert sun!! Still beats me. Fill up at a gas station. Put spares in luggage for emergencies.
