I am hosting a RTE at Dickeys BBQ in Crossville TN on Dec 1st around NOON. Its OK to come a little early as they are open at 10:30AM.

Dickeys is located just SOUTH of Interstate 40 that runs across Tennessee. Exit 317.
Hy 127 SOUTH about 1 1/2 miles. They have a National website but the prices vary slightly.

http://forums.delphiforums.com/MCTourer/messages?msg=29119.1

There are presently about 13 people signed up from MTF and you can add your name to the list by using the link above.

Their prices are real good and they have BBQ or Ribs. They have inside seating for 100 people so that shouldnt be a problem.
If you coming from out of town there are many major chain hotels and motels but you should reserve early as the fall season books up these rooms pretty quick.

There may be around 5 STs there as myself, Jason, Grizz, Joyce, and a new guy from Chattanooga may be there and Uncle Phil is thinking about it.

There are several from Etown KY and Louisville KY that may show up. Huntsville AL too.

If you can make it it would be great to see ya'

Ill keep a count over on the MTF forum and get you on the list.

Central or Eastern? I can't remember what time zone Crossville is in... I think it is Central... But it is pretty close to the line...

CHIPSTER - Central - the change is at the Cumberland Escarpement as you head down to Spring City or Dayton or at Crab Orchard if you continue east on I40, if my memory serves me correctly.

QUESTION - Are any passengers/spouses coming? My wife would like to come unless she will be the only spouse there.

Some of the ladies do show up when the weather is warm enough<
I can understand that if they dont have electrics as the ride home can get a little cool.

That's what I was thinking (but I couldn't remember and I couldn't find a web site that showed it...) Anyway... Won't be able to attend due to bad tires (and the local Christmas Parade).... SWMoto is closed down until the 16th... :(

CHIPSTER - If you had an ST1100, you could come up and we'd put on a set of my take-offs (I've got the HF tire changer and a static balancer). But I don't think the ST1100 tires fit on the ST1300 do they?

That's part of the problem... I don't think I would make it that far.... :D
P.S. I don't think the tires are the same...

QUESTION - The weather wienies are starting to mention rain for Saturday (which is not a particular problem for me). Is this a rain or shine gathering or would the plans change because of rain? Just wanting to know how to plan cause I'm looking forward to coming!

If anyone is interested in ridging over with us we’re going from Knoxville to Oak Ridge highway 62 down to Wartburg and 298 on to Crossville

There are three other riders coming with me possibly five

Uncle Phil it seems the last time we had dinner was at a barbeque place something you’re not telling us. Looking forward to seeing you

Thanks for coming down with Cliff and Mary, and Bill too.

thanks for bringing all the people from Kentucky.
It was great to see Greg, Pat, Darryl and Mark from Sonora.

A great turnout. SO many choices, and so little time. You and Deb will have to come back and visit the backroads of Crossville again.

JASON - I was just a practicin' my curving in a controlled environment! ;) Actually, Sharyn thought she'd lost her glove in the parking lot so I was going back to fetch it. Turns out I was sitting on it. :doh1:
