Yes I went for a ride today - down a very long and-a winding road ... actually Genoa Bay road in the south Island area for you locals. This is where I'm heading here: when I ride the STeed in a spirited fashion, all is well with the world. Mid-range power is plentyful, passing is ... unsurpassed !! ( :) ) the handling is great and I'm having a blast. Sometimes though, when I have to slow down, I notice a few things that annoy me.
1. Vibration - not much, but more than my old Wing :eek: used to have. Feel some in the handlebars and a bit in the pegs. (then again not as much as the boxer did) Ha!
2. Wind turbulence - this is not bad below 75mph, but above that it gets a bit annoying. My Corbin does lower me 1" or so, this helps.
3. Rear suspension - front is fine but the rear could be better, like the BMW had. Gotta admit the tele- and paralever are pretty cool.
Well that's about it for whining ... now I'm back to riding again, :D
