I'm in.... To everyone else...I did alot of research & believe the "streatch fit" of this liner is the way to go. I also searched for other discounted specials and NO ONE was even close to this deal. Dmac has a link to the product page of his company (Premier cycle products) on this related thread (http://www.st-owners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31708).

Not sure that I can fit into a XXL. Might be a tight fit. Hate to spend that kind of money and it not fit.

I have heated grips too, but the fingers still get cold when traveling freeway speeds in cold weather. Heated gloves will make a nice addition.

Just an FYI, During my reasearch on finding some heated gear I read information on Warm & Safe web site about how they kept getting their top designs ripped off / copied by other companys. This situation always ticks me off! Looking at the Powerlet gear the two products are very close if not identical. I emailed Warm & safe and got conformation from "Mike"
that THEY ARE IN FACT MAKING THE POWERLET HEATED GEAR! So it looks like quality grear at a great price! :D Count me in!

ST Powerlet Group Buy Customers - Please be aware when you get an email invoice from us it will show shipping as "In Store Pickup". As much as I would love to meet all of you, we won't make you come to Cleveland to pick the gear up, it is being shipped to you as promised. This is the only way we can put the shipping in so freight is not added to your bill. We should have mentioned this sooner. Sorry!

The group buy will end this Sunday at 12:00 PM eastern time. If you post your intention of buying on this thread before the deadline we will accept your order even though we won't talk to you until Monday. Thanks to all the members who have placed or will place orders with us, we appreciate your business. Have a happy Thanksgiving!

Everyone, this is a great deal. It is the Warm and Safe relabeled, and with a lifetime warranty!

The only problem with this is the finger length of the gloves.

After I ordered the Warm and Safe (at a 20% discount, plus $12 shipping) I had a chance to try on the Powerlet gloves at the motorcycle show in Ft. Worth. The size that the sizing chart said would fit my hand (large) fit fine, except the fingers were too short. I do not have long fingers. My middle finger is 3.5" long, measured from the base between the index and middle finger. This may apply only to the size large ones, but I wouldn't know about the others.

When my order arrived from W&S, sure enough, the glove fingers were too short. So mine are in the mail to be exchange for the x-large. I had to pay to ship them back to W&S, but the shipping back to me is free.

This is something you might consider when placing your order.

The reason I went with the W&S instead of the Powerlet is I wanted the semi-mount heat-troller that Powerlet does not offer(???).

Now that it has arrived (for those of you who have the semi-mount) where is there room to mount the troller on a ST1100 and still have enough cord length to reach the jacket, not the part with the knobs, which I intend to mount to the clutch resevoir, but the box that the 5 wires come out of?

Also does anyone know where to find the coaxial cable extension cords capable of handling the amp load of the heated gear much cheaper than the ones from W&S that are $12.50 each plus shipping?

Larry

Just gave them a try this evening. fifty degrees, not that cold. Took a little time to get the gloves on an connected, that part is a little awkward. Only had one wire going to the controller so am not sure how the gloves get connected.

Turned the knob, leds started blinking, took off. It was amazing to feel the warmth from the liner under the leather jacket. It's definetly going to make winter riding much more fun. Did feel a bit constricted but I'll have to work on that.
