how close to the wear bars, Don???
kinda hard to see in the pix.. Estimate of miles left??
I still have the OEM's, 9k miles and they still look pretty good, not much agressive riding tho..

Looks like mine did. I got 12k out of mine...could have gone a bit more, but I had a plug in it and had the tires changed for the new season.

Miles left? According to paST experiences with the 880 I'd say 2k hwy, less canyons. I've avgd 13K with them so far. FirST sign of a twi and so long. I do not wear them completely out. This 880 has a Monkey Grip STring plug in it.

I got 17K safe miles out of one ridden 90% slab.

I live very close to the "Malibu Alps" and a lot of very fun twiSTies.

How do they hold in the twisties compared to the Bridgestones?

I Get Mine On Thursday, It's The V Rated One. Is That What Yours Is? I'm Lucky To Get 6500 Miles Out Of Any Rear Tire Yet. I Currently Have The Z6 And Like Them. The Front Still Has Lots To Go.

My Z6 and ME 880 just came in... Dang, the 880 has a lot of meat on it...
Z6 ain't no slouch either.... Bike goes in for a tire change tomorrow...
10.6k on the OEM 'stones... not to the wear bars yet.. Will save them
for future use... Wanted new shoes for the 4 corners trip, just to be on
the safe side...

I just scrubbed in a new set of tires... ME 880 rear and a Z6 up front. They feel really good on the road and hopefully they will get more mileage than the OEM Bridgestones. I could only manage 6K out of the only Bridgestone I've had that didn't pick up a nail, a tack or some glass.

Z6/ME880 3k 4 corners trip, all kinds of road surfaces from super-slab to
gravel roads.... Love em..... I like the way they "feel" much more so than
the Battleaxes.... Not much wear showing at all...

Posted this on another thread:
Milage from rear 020s: 6,250 (OEM), about 5,600 and 5050
From front 020s: 12,000 (OEM) and 10,500.

I'm hard on tires (often 2-up or loaded), so what am I going to get out of a rear ME880 ? I assume more than I would out of a rear Z6 ?

John, no one really knows how many miles you will get..too many factors. Throwing out my short lived puncured 880 I am getting 13K miles avg from them. Low 10, hi 17!
