Hi guys.
With my last bike, I created a leather mounting system that went on the tank for things like my cell phone and music player (in this case an IPOD). That tied into my Autocom unit and I had easy access to the buttons, etc.
Now that I have the ST, I need to find a new way to mount everything. I could build something out of leather again, but honestly, it was a hell of a lot of work and I dont want to go that way again. RAM mounts seem to be the best way to accomplish something but, and no offense to Farkle people, I dont want it to be like the bridge of the Enterprise. I want to be able to mount the stuff and have it as minimalistic as possible. I've purchased a couple cover mounts from MCL, and my idea is to try to get something that can come off the mounts and instead of going straight up and be high on the handlebars, go down and kinda out of the way.
I am buying a Garmin 2610 to go between the handlebars, so now it's a matter of finding someway of mounting the rest. Anyway have any ideas? I'm looking at RAM's site at the moment seeing if there is something that yells "Pick Me! Pick Me!".
Anyone?
